The opening three chapters are one argument split into parts: a problem worth studying, a literature that establishes the gap, and methods capable of addressing it. Committees notice immediately when those three were written separately, because the methods answer a question the problem statement never quite asked.
Work therefore proceeds in the reading order rather than the convenient one. The problem is settled first and narrowly, the review is assembled to support that problem instead of the general topic, and the methods are written to be executable by one candidate with limited access and finite time. Then, and only then, does data collection begin.

Committee feedback is a set of instructions in disguise.
Comments arrive in the register of suggestion and function as requirements, and they occasionally contradict each other because they come from different readers with different commitments. A candidate who tries to satisfy every remark literally produces a document that argues with itself and returns for a further round.
Feedback is therefore sorted before it is acted on: what must change, what is a preference, and what two members disagree about and the chair will have to settle. Each accepted change is made visibly, so a reader who raised a point can find it addressed rather than take it on trust.
Statistics belong to somebody who does statistics.
The chapter that most often stalls a doctorate is the one where a candidate meets an analysis they were taught once. Assumptions must be tested and reported, the right procedure has to be justified rather than merely selected, and output has to be interpreted in sentences a committee outside the specialism can follow.
That work goes to the statistics column, in SPSS, R or Excel as the study requires, with the reasoning explained back to the candidate until they can defend it themselves. Interpretation is the deliverable rather than the output; reading statistical output in plain English covers the same ground for students doing their own.
Rehearsal is cheaper than a second defense date.
A defense is an oral examination conducted by people who have read the document unevenly, and the questions cluster predictably: why this sample, why this instrument, what the limitations mean for the claims, what a practitioner should do differently on Monday. None of that is difficult for a candidate who has said it aloud before.
A mock defense is therefore scheduled ahead of the real one, run by editors who have sat on committees, with the awkward questions asked properly rather than gently. Candidates arriving from the research desk often carry the same study from approval through to that rehearsal.

Is the dissertation written for me, or am I coached through it?
Either, and the choice is yours in writing before anything begins. Some candidates want chapters drafted from their data and their decisions; others want a reader who returns each section with hard questions attached. Most choose differently by chapter, taking heavy editing on the literature review and close coaching through the analysis.
Can the analysis for my study be handled here?
Yes, by editors whose own discipline is statistics rather than by a generalist with software. Assumption testing, procedure selection, output and interpretation are covered in SPSS, R or Excel, and the reasoning is explained back to you until you can defend each decision. A candidate who cannot explain their own analysis has a problem no desk can solve at the defense.
My dissertation has been stalled for two years. Is that recoverable?
Usually, and it is common enough to be routine here. Long stalls are ordinarily structural: a problem statement too broad to finish, a review that grew without an argument, or a methods chapter nobody can execute alone. The reading identifies which of those applies before any promise is made about a timeline.
What happens in a mock defense?
You present as you would to the committee, then face the questions committees actually ask: why this sample, why this instrument, what the limitations do to the claims, and what a practitioner should change as a result. It is conducted by editors who have sat on committees, and it is deliberately less comfortable than the real thing.
How is a project of this length priced?
By stage rather than as one figure, so a proposal, an analysis and a defense rehearsal are each quoted and each accepted separately. Doctoral work sits at the upper end of what academic support costs, for the plain reason that few people can do it and it takes months. Nothing is owed beyond the stage you have agreed to.
